SI☆NA, the yet to debut Hello! Project group is made up of the winners of the Hello! Pro Kansai Audition 2005 auditions. They've been around for a while, known as Hello!Pro Kansai but graduated to an official group in April this year after their stint with HAPPY! STYLE.
But you already know all this...
So let's meet the girls in an incredibly unique way thanks to DogaDoga7's YouTube channel.
S is for SUMA ai
Ai is 16 years old (the youngest member of SI☆NA) and hails from the Osaka Prefecture. She enjoys sleeping, singing and shopping and dislikes 'being quiet'. Her favorite food is powdered green tea ice cream and cake and she also enjoys vegetables while she dislikes liver, tuna and salmon. Her charm points are her tooth (I'm hoping she has more than one) and her left hand ... okie dokie. She was previously a finalist for the 2005 Morning Musume Auditions which saw Kusumi Koharu as the winner.
Manami was also a 2005 MM Auditionee, making the semi-final stage. She is 18 years old and is from the Osaka Prefecture. She was previously a part of a gospel choir and loves Ramen and frozen oranges. She is great at swimming and the abacus (nerd alert!) and was previously a member of ToiTeens!? some big idol-style choir group. Her nickname is Neesan ^_^
I is for IWASHIMA manami
Manami was also a 2005 MM Auditionee, making the semi-final stage. She is 18 years old and is from the Osaka Prefecture. She was previously a part of a gospel choir and loves Ramen and frozen oranges. N is for NAKAYAMA nana
N is for NAKAYAMA nana
Nana is 16, just 12 days older than Suma Ai. Her younger brother (Yuma) is a member Hey! Say! 7 West, a Johnny's Kansai Junior group. She lists her specialty as Volleyball despite only being 152cm tall, the shortest in the group. She loves strawberries and cherries *yum* - Her nickname is Seven .. I'm not certain why. She is also a fan of C-ute.
A is for ABE asami
Asami - no ... not Nacchi's sister - is 18 years old (her birthday was 2 days ago) and she is the comedian of the group, listing her specialty as making people laugh. She is from the Kyoto Prejecture and is aiming to be like Ohtani Masae which makes me laugh - I hope she comes up with some crazy, kick-ass hairstyles. She is the tallest in SI☆NA at 161cm.
Well now you know a little bit more about SI☆NA including their folding failures, you can start picking out your favourites. I like Suma Ai, but I'm liking them all at this point - voices will no doubt make a difference. Stay tuned for their upcoming debut (which is hopefully soon! >.< )
